The Thoburn Trust Land

Rolvenden Parish Council is the sole Corporate Trustee for land bequeathed to the parish by Lady Thoburn.  

The objectives are:

To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement  of the physical and natural environment of Land on the West side of Maytham Road, Rolvenden part of  Great Maytham Park which is part of the Grade II listed park entry number 1000221 on Historic England’s register.
To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for allotments in Rolvenden and the surrounding area, in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation for the public at large with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Councillors meet periodically to progress the above objectives.  The minutes of these meetings will be published below when approved.
